Charity Bike Ride - 2009

Trip Details

Tom Sewell Charity Bike Ride

Starting the 11th July 2009, Will Taylor, Chris Price, Billy Bates, James Russell and Chris Primett will set off from Lands End, most southerly point of England, cycling to John O'Groats, most northerly point of Scotland.

The trip will cover approximately 1000 miles and we will be looking to do it in around 2 weeks. We will be covering our costs of transport there and back as well as accomodation costs.

We will be trying to raise as much money as possible for 'Rugby Fighting Children's Cancer' and 'Help for Heroes' in memory of our great friend, Tom Sewell.

Tom had links to both charities which were chosen by his family. He had a young friend pass away due to cancer and has friends in the armed forces.

'Rugby Fighting Children's Cancer' raises money for 'The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign'. The RMCC research and treat cancer for over 40,000 people a year. 'Help for Heroes' supports service men and women who are injured in current conficts around the world.

We would be very grateful if you would donate money for one of the causes by clicking one of the following secure links- any amount of money would be brilliant, no matter how small, it all helps. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
