This site is dedicated to the memory of a much loved son, brother and friend - Tom 'Tom the Tank' Sewell.
Tom died in New Zealand in June last year aged 19. He was on his gap year and had gone to NZ to watch England play the All Blacks. He died two days before the 1st test.
Five of his friends have decided they want to do something in his memory and plan to give up two weeks of their summer cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats.
They plan to raise as much money as possible in Tom's name for Royal Marsden Cancer Care and Help for Heroes. They are funding the trip entirely themselves and will be cycling around 80 miles a day, camping at night.
This site will track their progress as they prepare for the trip, and during the trip itself. The site may also be used for other trips in the future.
